You Are Home /Siéntese en Casa. This collaborative 60’ mural by ten artists, creating and joining twenty works, each depicting an expression of the immigrant experience.

Dr. Ramon Resa: Empowered Through Education, the inspirational life story of an orphan boy, a child farm laborer, who rose to prominence as a noted pediatrician and author, serving the communities of the Central Valley.

Bienvenidos al Canal, completed and celebrated in July, 2021, is the work of three immigrant artists and youth artists, in collaboration with the group of community leaders, Voces del Canal, as advisors, an important collaborator in The Canal Arts program. The building is a prominent gateway to the Canal, at the corner of Bellam and Belvedere.

The Canal Arts with Kids

With the onset of the pandemic, we opened online groups for Canal kids and Marin artists, the kids posting their artwork for glowing comments of encouragement, their works were then composed onto this trailer parked for the duration at 3301 Kerner, for all to see. A source of joy and promise:

The Bon Air Center’s 70th 

The Canal Arts was invited to create a mural to celebrate the Greenbrae, CA Bon Air Center’s 70th Anniversary, from its beginning in 1952 to today. Artists: Yuan Chen, Isidoro Filadelfo Angeles, Kathleen Edwards, Glenn Case, with Storek Studio/Architecture directing the project.
